Elizabeth Christine
Hi Elizabeth, can you introduce yourself to our readers please? Hello THE HUQ!

I'm Elizabeth Christine, glamour model from beautiful Miami, FL. I would describe myself as an ambitious, strong, secure independent woman. I have a go-getter attitude and strive to reach the goals I set for myself. I think more like a man than a woman when it comes to dealing with life. My career is my priority so I put a lot of pressure on myself when it comes to my work. My personality is free-spirited, bubbly, and adventurous.

Have you always wanted to be a model? How did you get involved in modeling?

I actually started as a child model at the young age of 5, I was signed to an agency and my mom would take me to castings for commercials and catalogues. I did really well and booked a lot of work then took a break as a teenager. When I was in college I got back into it, shot a whole new portfolio and before I knew it agents were sending me out to casting calls for print magazines, television, etc.

Now everyone sees all the glamour, but nobody sees the hard work put into being an official model. Can you tell us whats a days grind for you is like?

A days grind is waking up early, getting to set on time, making sure I'm 100% ready to deliver, and following up 'til the project is executed. When I'm not booked, it's constant castings and submissions to new exciting opportunities. This job takes a fighting spirit, work ethic, thick skin, and sense of self-worth to stay motivated and make it. I handle my business professionally and integrate into more international campaigns, commericals, acting, and the radar of pop-culture in general. You're really blessed with good genes - a pretty face and a wonderful body--two qualities that are highly important in terms of helping you to secure modeling gigs.

Elizabeth ChristineTell us about your heritage (the origins of your beauty) a little bit.

Thank you! Well my mother's side is Spanish from Madrid, Spain and the Canary Islands and my father's side is Cuban from Havana, Cuba. All the women in my family are very voluptuous and both my mom and grandmother have beautiful facial features.

What, if anything, do you dislike about being a highly sought-after beauty?

I appreciate all of my supporters, but every once in a while you get the ones that think they know you and ask you personal questions that are out of line. Boundaries are meant to be set for my own protection.

How has your look evolved over the years and if you took a sheet of paper and a pencil, what would you list as the assets you have that you're proud to own?

Ever since I can remember I have been curvy and had a little junk in the trunk, but was very petite at the same time. My hair is very thick and long, when I was younger I really didn't know what to do with it, but now I realize how lucky I am that I don't have to wear extentions. I work out at least 3 times a week and try my best to eat clean and not have too much Cuban food.

How would you describe the image that comes across when people look at your photos?
My images are sexy, exude confidence and stay classy all at the same time. I make sure my eyes and facial expressions can tell a story, so that its not all about my body or the way I pose.

What experience do you value more and attain more personal satisfaction from as a model: the creative process behind an intimate collaboration with a talented photographer, make-up artist and/or designer OR seeing the reaction from your family, friends and fans as they bare witness to the finished product?

I  definitely value both, but I gain so much more knowledge and experience when I work with talented photographers/make-up artist/designers. They know the business better than anyone and their insights have helped me grow as model and elevate my career.

How would you describe the demand for your beauty particularly in the modeling industry? How fierce is the competition you confront with other perfect-bodied beauties? How do you balance the "model" life with a normal and personal life?

I try not to take on too many projects at once and leave days where I can solely spend time on myself, with family or friends. It got to a point where I was working 7 days a week once and traveling. I realized that wasn't healthy so I made changes fast.

Elizabeth ChristineDo you place any limitations on yourself in terms of what you will and will not do in this industry to succeed, or do you have a 'by any means necessary I will get mine in the 21st century' attitude?

I'm very picky about what work gets sent my way. I don't pose nude and pose implied only for published magazines and campaigns. At this point in my career anything that looks low budget will only set me back.

For all of the people, photographers, agencies and companies seeing you for the first time who will want to gain more information about you, tell them where they can go to see and read about some of your past, present and future projects?

What are some of your upcoming projects? What would you consider your biggest accomplishment so far?

I'm the official spokesmodel for international liquor, MamaJuana, just finished the ad campaign in Miami. I'll be touring and making appearances nationwide and in South America very soon for it. I have a few magazine spreads coming up in no time and covers as well. I'll be competing in 3 Model Competitions this year which I'm very excited about. Lookout for more music videos, television appearances, and possibly films.
