Hi Jennifer, can you introduce yourself to our readers please? Who is Jenni
Jayde?
Hello everybody, I am someone that people enjoy
being around... at least I hope so.... I'm funny (or so I've been told), a good
listener, I love talking, maybe a little too much, I say what's on my mind... some
may say I'm too honest, I love being around my family and friends. I love
reading, working out and yoga. I love to act crazy half the time just because
it’s fun. I was born and raised in Florida and I’m still here, but love to
travel!!
Have you always wanted to be a model? How did
you get involved in modeling?
Well, I wouldn't say I always wanted to be a
model, actually when I was a child I wanted to be a veterinarian.... all I wanted to
do was help the animals. I am a huge animal lover!! But I used to get
individuals telling me that I should model and still then I never really thought
about it. One day I came in contact with a photographer and after our first
shoot everything was a tumbling effect, I was receiving lots of e-mails
regarding work. It just kind of happened.
Now everyone sees all the glamour, but nobody
sees the hard work put into being an official model. Can you tell us whats a
days grind for you is like?
Honestly, it's a lot of traveling which I love
but sometimes I feel like I'm constantly on the go. As much as I do love to
travel, packing and unpacking is no fun, sometimes I just want to leave
everything in the suitcase because I know in another week I'll be traveling
somewhere else. It's draining at times, but always worth it in the end. I also
try to balance my diet.... not that I diet, I eat everything, I just eat everything
in moderation.
You're really blessed with good genes - a very
beautiful face and a wonderful body--two qualities that are highly important in
terms of helping you to secure modeling gigs. Tell us about your heritage (the
origins of your beauty) a little bit.
I love this question. I must say I answer this
exact question multiple times a week. When someone asks me my nationality I
usually respond by asking them what they think I am and let me just say I have
been plenty of things.... some I have never even heard of lol. But I am a mix of
Armenian, Sicilian, and Indian. My mom is Armenian and Sicilian and my dad is
Indian.
What, if anything, do you dislike about being
an in-demand beauty?
I love it but the only downfall I would have to
say is that I get a lot of e-mails as well as messages on my sites and sometimes
some e-mails/messages get lost in the mix and I will be going through everything
then I'll see certain things I wanted to follow up on and completely forgot
about it just because it gets bumped down everytime a new message comes through.
When that happens I usually send a message to see if the company or photographer
are still interested in working together, sometimes it works out and sometimes
it doesn't.
How has your look evolved over the years and if
you took a sheet of paper and a pencil, what would you list as the assets you
have that you're proud to own?
I am definitely not perfect but I can honestly say
I wouldn't change anything about myself. If I had to list the assets that I'm
proud of I'd have to say my smile, stomach, booty, chest and legs.... is that
too many?
How would you describe the demand for your
beauty particularly in the modeling industry? How fierce is the competition you
confront with other perfect-bodied beauties?
Just like the question about my heritage, I always
here that from the individuals I work with.... telling me I have an exotic look,
that I don't look like the next girl. This makes me feel good because I know I
have something different I'm bringing to the table. As far as the competition,
there are so many beautiful people in the world and it really depends on the
project and what look the company wants to hire…whether it's a blonde, brunette
etc…
Your pictures are generally sexy, unique and
original. Where does your creativity come from, and how do you choose the theme
for each photoshoot?
I do love to shoot the sexy stuff, it's fun..
It's a good mix between the ideas of the photographer as well as the model. Even
though some photographers have similar shooting styles, they still have their
own unique touch. I usually don't have themes planned out. Sometimes when
I'm out and about I'll find a cute or sexy outfit and once you show the
photographer they get their vision and with everything combined, you end up
getting one hot image.
What do you love about being photographed?
It's an amazing feeling being in front of the
camera. Especially knowing the result you are going to get in the end.
Photographs last a lifetime and it's so much fun to look at an image and know
what it took to get that shot and the fun stories from behind the scenes.
How do you balance the "model" life with a
normal and personal life?
It's not too hard, but it's easy when you have
supportive friends and family.
At the moment, what are you passionate the most
about in your life?
I would have to say modeling, I love it. I'm ready
to see where it's going to take me next and I can't wait.
What are some of your upcoming projects? What
would you consider your biggest accomplishment so far?
I am getting ready to travel to Dallas Superbowl
week and also Cabo in March. I will be meeting some important people in the
industry so everyone keep their fingers crossed that everything goes
accordingly. My next step along with print and being published is to take it to
the next level and start doing film work and commercials. Just being where
I am today not only with modeling but my life in general is a huge
accomplishment. I have no regrets with any decisions I have made and I only see
things getting better from this point on..
Lastly, where do you see yourself in 5 - 10
years?
Haha I don’t even know, but hopefully somewhere
goodJ I definitely plan on modeling until I just can’t anymore, but I
love everything behind the scenes and fashion, so who knows, there’s so many
possibilities. Wherever I end up I know I'll be happy.
