Hi Lanii, can you introduce yourself to our readers please? Who is Lanii Marie?

Yes, Lanii Marie is a down to earth, goofy, fun, and flirty "girl next door" type of girl.

How did you get involved in modeling?

While at a car meet, supporting a friend, one of my close friends that was with me spoke with the director of Phat Ephex, Peter Acosta. I then became a Phat Ephex model and he put me in for the next car show they were in and it just went off from there.

Now everyone sees all the glamour, but nobody sees the hard work put into being an official model. Can you tell us whats a days grind for you like?

A days grind for me can get very stressful. I'll start with the car shows, most of the car shows are a few hours away and some are out of state like Reno for example, so we have to wake up really early. Majority of the time the walks are far from the parking lot and imagine walking, dancing, posing for lots of cameras at once, taking pictures with fans for about 3 to 7 hours in stiletto's lol. Photo shoots are fun too, but usually long hours as well. Gigs, online features etc don't always just come to you like people tend to think. You have to do a lot of networking, and browsing on the Internet; I have to respond to emails, and check all of my social network pages often. So sometimes I have to spend hours on the Internet and I also have to workout, but since I've started school full time I have to focus on my education more.

You're really blessed with good genes - a pretty face and a wonderful voluptuous body--two qualities that are highly important in terms of helping you to secure modeling gigs. Tell us about your heritage (the origins of your beauty) a little bit.

Thank you for the compliments! ( blushing ) I'm Puerto Rican and a quarter Cuban, which both origins are very mixed.

Lanii, you would have to be every guys' fantasy babe, you have a perfect skin tone, pretty face and a mind blowing body. What, if anything, do you dislike about being an in-demand beauty?

I dislike the false rumors, bad assumptions and weirdos. Oh yeah sometimes just being looked as like a piece of meat

How has your look evolved over the years and if you took a sheet of paper and a pencil, what would you list as the assets you have that you're proud to own?

My looks have changed a lot over the years. I've changed my hair color and style so many times. Now I'm proud that I let my natural hair grow out and I'm wearing it out natural. Also I more curvaceous after having my daughter. Yes I'm a Proud Mommy!

Lanii, how would you describe the demand for your beauty particularly in the modeling industry? How fierce is the competition you confront with other perfect-bodied beauties?

 I actually have gotten a quite few offers, test shoots invites, video shoots and photo shoots request but this has been a difficult year for me so I couldn't focus, so some were postponed. It is very competitive! There are a lot of beautiful models out right now! Some models are very nice, friendly and down to earth but then there are some that aren't as friendly or nice.

What has 2010 been for you in terms of work (party hosting, magazine covers & appearances, films, music videos etc)?

 I've done Brand Ambassador work with a few different Tequila's and Hennessy Black brands, and one of the events with a celebrity appearance. I'm still working on doing some videos shoots, etc. Some people who have contacted me were not professional so I had to pass some offers. But check me out on Model Mayhem modelmayhem.com/Laniidoll.

Your pictures are generally sexy, unique and original. Where does your creativity come from, and how do you choose the theme for each photo shoot?

I Love art so I'm pretty creative, but I can't take all the credit. The photographers and I work as a team during our shoots; We both put in our ideas. We try to think what would catch someones eye, but trying to be a little different and showing you can be classy yet sexy at the same time.

What do you love about being photographed?

 I feel like I get lost in the camera and it helps expand my imagination. *wink wink*

How do you balance the "model" life with a normal and personal life?

With my "model" life its more glamorous, and my "normal and personal" life more is casual. I usually like to keep my model life for night(s) and weekends.

At the moment, what are you passionate the most about in your life?

At this moment, I feel very passionate about school and of course my family.

This is for the guys, they probably want to know, are you currently available or involved with someone?

Well, technically I'm single (giggles)

What are some of your upcoming projects? What would you consider your biggest accomplishment so far?

I have few things coming up in 2011, I'm excited for the New Year! I'd say my biggest accomplishment for me so far is that I still haven't let the 'modeling game' get to my head. LOL

Lastly, where do you see yourself in 5 - 10 years?

My life has been changing gradually, so I can't really tell you exactly what I see myself doing in 5-10 years but I can say that I know I'll be doing something positive in my life as well in persevering in success.
