Hello Jenna, I'm flattered you accepted to be interviewed
for THE HUQ!, to start this interviewoff, please
give me some background information.
Well.... I am originally from NorCal but have lived in
San Diego for about 10 years now... I love the sunshine here...its such a
beautiful city. I graduated from SDSU with a degree in Business Management. I
dabbled in many things including modeling & started my own business, Coastal
Beauties
How did you initially decide to get into
entertainment management/model promotion? What was the catalyst to you making
this decision?
I absolutely love modeling but am a business woman at
heart... being in front of the camera is so much fun but I know eventually I
would like to be the one behind the desk signing the checks ;) I wanted a way
to help other models in the industry...i feel like the industry is saturated
with companies that take advantage and exploit young women... I created a
company that is sincerely here to advance the careers of models and give them
ways to manage and elevate their own career. We are about empowerment,
elevation, success and positivity. We are a family and I want everyone involved
in the business to benefit..
Tell us a little about your successful business endeavor, Coastal Beauties?
Coastal Beauties is a model marketing and promotion
company. We book out promo models for events and host our own exclusive
parties. We also produce websites, photo shoots and do video production. We
help our girls get their own websites built with original content and give them
ways to make money. Our online community is a way for models, fans and industry
professionals to connect while getting special perks for being part of our
family!
Define what being sexy is to you?
Sexy to me is not so much about
the exterior but what is inside...I know it sounds cliche but it is the truth.
Beauty isn't just pretty looks, but a positive attitude, a hunger for success,
motivation and confidence. Sexy is holding your head up when your walking and
looking people in the eye, being confident without being cocky... remaining
humble... that is a difficult combination.
Jenna you have one of the most refined physiques
that I've seen that elicits a high degree of pleasure from one’s aesthetic
senses, so I'm curious to know what does your diet and exercise regimen consist
of?
lol i like the way you speak...haha. I am all about
balance. I don't have a crazy strict diet but I do things like not putting mayo
and cheese on my sandwich & portion control. I LOVE eating so it is just about
moderation and cutting calories wherever you can.
I am also careful about what is in my food...i prefer organic, hormone free
food...
I also go to the gym 5-6 days a week, run and do wii fit ;)
I really want to get that brazillian butt lift DVD haha...
How would you describe the image that comes across
when people look at your photos?
hmmm...i hear a lot that I am sexy while still remaining classy.. I
There are a lot of misconceptions or stereotypes
about entrepreneurial-minded women in the entertainment industry. Does that
stigma follow you?
Hmmm...I'm not sure. I haven't heard the bad things people say about me yet
lol. For me that isn't a bad thing though... I can honestly say I LOVE to be
underestimated. It is great when people have an image of you and expect you to
be stupid based on your appearance... then when you actually have a conversation
they are surprised. Makes my job way easier
What would you say sets you apart from other women in the
same field, with similar goals?
I
understand both sides of the fence... I understand the model perspective and the
business perspective which makes both of these things easier for me.
Do you place any
limitations on yourself in terms of what you will and will not do in this
industry to succeed, or do you have a 'by any means necessary I will get mine in
the 21st century attitude?
If I had the "by any means" attitude I would be much much
farther along than I am now. I am a very humble person and I believe 100% in
karma. I will not step on anyones toes to get ahead or be involved in anything
"shady" I think whatever you put out you get back x100. I go through life with
a complete respect for everyone and everything around me...even ants.. But don't
get me wrong...people assume since I am nice they can take advantage of me but
that is a BIG mistake. It takes a lot to put me over the line but when you get
me there it isn't pretty
