Hi Terrie, can you introduce yourself to our readers
please? Who is Terrie Hawkes? How did you get involved in modeling?
I'm 25 and I'm from the
north east of England, I'm LOUD, opinionated, fun loving and love abit of
adventure. I'm a laid back girl and would like to consider myself as down to
earth and a good laugh! I started off in modelling about 2 years ago..I was
actually approached by a photographer. id just got out of a relationship that
was pretty crap and had no self esteem and just thought why the hell not. I've
been doing it ever since and never looked back. I do promo work to and im a ring
girl for MADE4THECAGE UK
Now everyone sees all the glamour, but nobody sees the hard work put into
being an official model. Can you tell us whats a days grind for you is like?
Being infront of the camera isnt as easy as it looks u have to hold poses for
ages and if youve had a long days shooting you ache like hell after wards. You
have to take care of your appearance and put 100% effort into every assignment
you do. Theres not alot to complain about really because I absolutely love it, I
get to travel the country and meet interesting people. The downside is I suppose
you get the odd few morons who try take the mick or test the water and try get
you to do things you wouldnt find comfortable, you have to have a very strong
sense of self and be very strong minded sometimes.
What, if anything, do you dislike about being an in-demand beauty?
Nothing.. I love it
How has your look evolved over the years and if you took a sheet of paper and
a pencil, what would you list as the assets you have that you're proud to own?
Not really no ive always been blonde tanned and slim.. well all through my adult
years anyway. Nothing much has changed, apart from having a boob job when I was
20.

How would you describe the demand for your beauty particularly in the modeling
industry? How fierce is the competition you confront with other perfect-bodied
beauties?
When I was young all girls wanted to be nurses and teachers. These days
everyone wants to be a model. There is definitely alot more competition out
there. There is also alot of different work opportunities though so different
girls are suitable for different things. There is room enough for everyone.
How do you balance "model" life with a normal and personal life?
Its hard with regards to having a trusting relationship, I personally have a
hard time working out if guys want to date me for me or because they want to
sleep with a glamour model. Then when you do find someone its hard for them to
accept what you do for a living and it causes alot of issues. My relationships
are few and far beween, I'm very picky and then the amount of effort that has to
be put in with all these trust and jealousy issues is unreal. Half the time I
just dont bother, my boyfriends are few and far between. With friends and
family, they know me for me, they understand my true colours and what im all
about so its easy with them everything stays normal - nothing has changed there
What are some of your upcoming projects?
I have a few things in the pipe line which I could mention but I'd rather not. I
have a thing where I don't mention things until I've actually done them. I'm sure
you will see soon enough
What would you consider your biggest modeling accomplishment so far?
I'm regularly published in lads mags and papers so I guess thats good I've
modelled abroad before too which I loved
Lastly, where do you see yourself in 5 - 10 years?
I dont have a plan I'm a live in the moment kind of girl. I don't care where I
am aslong as I'm happy healthy and have my friends and family
