Interview: Toni Rae  Hi Toni, can you introduce yourself to our readers please? Who is Toni Rae?
Toni Rae is a Model. Entrepreneur. Small, but mighty! Sexy.
Fiesty. Independent. Sarcastic. Sweet. a Go-Getter. a Lover. a Fighter. Simply
put, I'm just me.
What was your first step into the world of modeling? Have you always been comfortable with showing off your body? My first experience with modeling was about 4 1/2 yrs ago, a photographer of a friend was looking for some new models to shoot, and thought I should try it out. I was kinda nervous, didn't really know what to expect. But I was such a "ham" when I was little, I figured it'd come 2nd nature to me. Define what being sexy is to you. Sexy is a lot of things to me. Sexy is a persons attitude & characteristics they hold. Sexy is a way someone walks into the room & steals the spotlight. Sexy is someone that is very classy & tasteful. Sexy is someone that holds themself to a higher standard than the rest. Eye candy and Modeling is there a difference to you? Somewhat. I guess it depends on the type of modeling. The sexy, glamour, lingerie, swimsuit modeling to me, is Eye Candy...these are pictures that men and women don't mind looking at. Whereas, fashion, runway, etc...are more appealing to just women. An Eye Candy is someone that catches your "eye" immediately. Like flipping thru a magazine, or looking online, and "damn! who's that?" is Eye Candy... How has your look evolved over the years and if you took a sheet of paper and a pencil, what would you list as the assets you have that you're proud to own?
Well, obviously through time...my body has evolved, my
face has matured, my boobs filled in, my butt got bigger (is that possible?). I
matured as a woman.
Demand, I guess I'd say I have sort of a different look than others, especially being as little as I am. That's ultimately what sets me apart. There are a ton of perfect-bodied, beautiful-faced models out there right now, but there's not too many in my category. 4'11" cute face, and perfectly proportioned - with a big booty.
What has 2010 been for you in terms of modeling
work (party hosting, magazines, videos etc)? Man oh Man, I've done so much this year, I have to say, I'm truly proud of myself. But next year is approaching very quickly and I can guarantee so soo much more! As of right now, I've done a ton of online features and magazines, did a couple music videos, and just actual finished a calendar for COX radio out here in Tampa, which will be dropping in October, so be on the lookout for that, Tampa Bay! Your pictures are so sexy, unique and original. Where does your creativity come from, and how do you choose the theme for each photoshoot?
A lot of it is collaboration and vibe with the
photographer. I have my own ideas, and the photographer has his. When we get
together and start putting together, it's like magic! In this industry, it's very important to stay in touch with my fans and followers. You know, I want them to know and feel like I really do appreciate them sticking around, and waiting for new pictures and things that I have coming up. What are some of your upcoming projects? What
would you consider your biggest accomplishment so far? Next month, I'll be shooting for Strobe Magazine, along with a few others, that I won't disclose just yet, but I am super excited about. My biggest accomplishment so far, is just everything that I've gotten done in the last 9 months of this year, bikini contests, new shoots, everything! Lastly, where do you see yourself in 5 - 10 years?
